Many years ago, we were camped at Marcy Dam in the Adirondacks in the winter. It was snowy and cold, with temps dropping to about -8 degrees. Nice! We decided to stay in the tent and cook in the vestibule, and the stove fell over. S**t. During the quick scramble to get things under control, I got a rip in my down sleeping bag. Poof feathers everywhere. With a bit of duct tape, I fixed the damage. Looking back on it, I laugh.
I was looking on Backpacker Magazine online and found this video. By the way, I still have and use the sleeping bag, going on 20 years!
