Howling wind. It can challenge us in the backcountry. When above timberline, the wind can easily find us. Perhaps the most skillful of the windy weather camp tasks is setting up your shelter.

As seen on MSRGear youtube channel, adventure photographer and the host of Backpacking TV, Eric Hanson recently took on the infamous winds of Patagonia on a solo trek and quickly learned some key tricks for setting up your home when the air is blowing fiercely.
