Rose Mountain is a 3080′ privately owned peak in the North-Central Peaks of the Catskills. It is situated north of Rochester Hollow in the Shandaken Wild Forest which has a wonderful trail system and lean-to which would make a great jumping point to climb to the summit. It is ranked 82nd highest in the Catskill 100 and 47th of the Catskill 67. Remember the peak is on private property.
This peak is entirely on private land. You must obtain the landowner’s permission before entering this property.
