Doubletop and Graham Mountain are closed, for good.

Summit of Graham
Average read time 1 min

Friends, it is with sadness that I must share that the privately owned Doubletop and Graham Mountains in the Catskills are permanently closed. The two peaks ranked 7th and 8th tallest cannot be hiked. These were Catskill 3500 Club required climbs which were closed just before hunting season this year. The club has used South Doubletop and Millbrook Ridge as “replacement peaks” until the board can meet and reevaluate the required peak list.

Please read our entire statement here.

As always, thanks for your readership!
