Bear alert in the Adirondacks at Slant Rock (and heat in NY)
In a rare and prudent request, Ranger Scott VanLaer (NYSDEC) has requested that backpackers heading into the Johns Brook Valley NOT camp at Slant Rock this weekend due to bear activity.
