Mount Sherrill Catskills

On January 19th Rangers responded to a call from a hiker stating that a hiking partner was injured on Mt. Sherrill a trailless peak in the Catskills. The peak is typically climbed as part of membership for the Catskill 3500 Club. The injured hiker was found about 2.5-miles from the trailhead near the summit which has steep terrain on its eastern face.
